Venice Sample Sale
May 14th, 2012 § 0
This Friday: be there or be square.
In addition to quilts, scarves, and napkins, I am excited to have a couple of things off the loom for sale including hatbands iced with pins by Landlocd jewelry. I’ll also have some block printed totes by me and Arc of LA. Who can resist All for the Mountain- I wear my bolo and Mothership ring all the time- and if you haven’t seen Hannah Keefe’s work in person, now is the time. There are going to be so many beautiful things to spring for. Come see.

The turmeric/alkanet/sandalwood dyed yarn has come off the loom and found a new form: jacket, with buttonholes.
Just a sketch for future possibilities.

I recently made new silk chiffon scarves for spring using sandalwood, alkanet, and cutch for color, with subtle shibori stitchlines down the center of each. Available at JF & Son and shop.maricolous.com.
Steaming pots of turmeric and sandalwood.
