Ashley has been leading workshops for natural dyeing, shibori, indigo, procion tie-dye, and weaving at venues like CalArts, Twig and Twine, Mt Washington Pottery, Otherwild, Busy Being in Austin, Space 1520, Pieter, Platform, Matcha Source, and Gravel and Gold in San Francisco since 2012.
She created scarves for Velvet by Graham and Spencer for two seasons, sold dyed and woven textiles at Los Angeles shops Dream Collective and Otherwild, acted as indigo wrangler/consultant for Lululemon, and fabricated large scale denim weavings for Perfect 69. Her quilts have been featured in Knitwit and Huck Magazine.
With several other fiber artists, Ashley laid the foundation for the Los Angeles Fibershed.
As part of Visualizing Language: Oaxaca in LA presented by the Los Angeles Public Library and the Getty Foundation's PST: LA/LA, Ashley will be demonstrating Oaxacan Traditional Dyes in the fall/winter of 2017.
