I’m Ashley, I draw/paint/write from the Gateway of Angeles Crest National Forest in Los Angeles, California. I spent nearly a decade creating textiles (quilting, weaving and dyeing); collaborating with companies and facilitating dye workshops in storefronts, for brands and private events, and at several branches of the Los Angeles Public Library. My drawings and paintings can be found in a variety of places, like on a Consolidated Skateboards deck and for the short story Tummler's Dog by Anne Lamott in a beautiful letterpress book called I Was There, in the collection of the Met Museum (where I worked, long ago, as an intern in Drawing and Prints cataloging 19th century pop-up books). I’m a graduate student of Library and Information Science.
